MVP track club representative Rohan Watson is the new men’s national 100-metre champion after a shock performance at the National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.
Watson clocked a personal best 9.91 seconds to blitz a field including big names like Ackeem Blake and Oblique Seville.
Ryiem Forde took second place in a time 9.96, while Seville was third in 10.00.
Blake was a disappointing fourth in 10.01, just ahead of former national champion, Tyquendo Tracey, 10.09.
