Former Clarendon College quarter miler, Dejanea Oakley, who now competes for the University of Texas, outclassed her opponents for an impressive win in the girls’ under-20 400 metres at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.
Oakley clocked 52.28 seconds to finish ahead of Edwin Allen’s Tonyan Beckford, 54.95, and William Knibb’s Oneika Brissett, third in 54.51.
