Former National Champion, Sean Bailey, the country's number-one man in the 400 metres this season was forced to stave off the late challenge of Antonio Watson to regain his title at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships inside the National Stadium this evening.
Bailey clocked 44.48 seconds for the win while Watson clocked yet another personal best, 44.54, for the runner-up spot. Defending champion, Jevaughn Powell, out of the University of Florida, had to settle for third in 45.19.
