Megan Tapper’s excellent record at the JAAA/PUMA National Senior and Junior Championships continued today as the Elite Performance athlete held off a late rush from Ackera Nugent to win her third national senior title in 12.64 seconds.
The dimunitive Tapper got a brilliant start but had to dig deep in the end as the slow-starting Nugent fell just short, finishing second in 12.67 seconds.
Veteran Danielle Williams held on for third in 12.82 seconds.
