Despite a sluggish start, Jamaica’s Hansle Parchment delivered the country’s first medal, a silver in the 110-metre hurdles, at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
The fast-finishing Parchment took the silver medal in a time of 13.07 seconds behind American Grant Holloway, who clocked 12.96 for his third hold on the World Championships title.
Holloway’s teammate Daniel Roberts took bronze in 13.09.
