THE CARIBBEAN Shipping Association (CSA) concluded its highly anticipated 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM), Conference, and Exhibition with resounding success in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Hosted at the luxurious Hyatt Regency from October 23 to 24, the event served as a pivotal gathering for key players in the maritime industry. The conference featured a series of engaging panels and discussions addressing critical shipping issues, ranging from the latest trends in logistics and transportation to the challenges of sustainability and environmental impact.
The CSA conference also offered attendees opportunities for networking and cultural enrichment. Delegates and participants had the chance to connect during a lively cocktail event, fostering valuable partnerships and collaborations. To celebrate the vibrant Caribbean culture, a cultural networking event was organised, showcasing the rich heritage of Trinidad and Tobago. Additionally, the highlight of the event was the announcement of Barbados Port Inc as winner of the Ludlow Stewart Container Port of the Year award, recognising excellence in port operations.
