The lineup for the 2024 staging of Reggae Sumfest just got more exciting as organisers have added Jada Kingdom, Aidonia and fast-rising, visually impaired sensation, Nigy Boy.
Nigy Boy is set to make his debut appearance on night two, Saturday, July 20, while Aidonia and Jada Kingdom are set to take the stage on Friday, July 19, renowned as Dancehall Night.
Having previously joined DownSound Entertainment’s D’Yani on set last year, Kingdom is gearing up to deliver a solo performance. Aidonia is also anticipated to bring the heat to Catherine Hall on night one of the event.
Aidonia, Jada and Nigy Boy join Reggae crooner Beres Hammond and R&B superstar Babyface on the highly anticipated lineup. The organisers, who previously announced Babyface’s participation late last year, are aiming to elevate the festival to new heights.
Downsound Entertainment boss, Josef Bogdanovich, told the media that he’s in the business of ‘supply and demand’ and whatever patrons want, they are sure to get as the week of activities draws closer.
“We’re just giving patrons what they want, and we’re starting with Babyface. We’re looking to give you some nice surprises for the festival on Friday night as well,” he said at the time.
Sumfest is set to take place during the week of July 14-20.
