Zimi Seh Riva, originally slated for Sunday, July 7, has been postponed until further notice.
"Given the impending passage of Hurricane Beryl and out of an abundance of caution for our both patrons as well as our team, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming event," the organisers, Zimi Entertainment, said in a press release.
Marketed as "the ultimate cooler party", Zimi Seh Riva was all set for Tru Juice River in Bog Walk, where patrons were promised "a vibrant celebration of music, food, and good vibes in a picturesque riverside paradise in St. Catherine"
The Zimi team has shared that after the passage of the weather system, they will "conduct an extensive assessment and advise on a new date in the shortest possible time frame".
"We ask that you please take necessary precautions to protect yourself, property and your loved ones during this time. Ensure you have charged devices, including power banks, ready vehicles, emergency contact information on hand and nearby shelter details, should the need for same arise."
