Flight operations at the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James have been disrupted due to an emergency situation.
This was confirmed by Sharon Hislop, Manager, Commercial Development & Marketing at MBJ Airports Limited, the operator of Sangster.
Hislop told The Gleaner that the issue impacted some flight operations.
She declined to state the nature of the emergency.
However, The Gleaner understands that there was reportedly a security breach at the airport today.
