Two independent candidates were Wednesday morning nominated to contest the St Andrew North Western by-election.
The two, Carl Marshall and Rohan Banks, were nominated just after 10 a.m. at the Pembroke Hall Restorative Justice Centre.
Banks contested the seat for the opposition People's National Party (PNP) in the September 2020 general election.
He received 2,499 votes to former finance minister Dr Nigel Clarke's 6,566 votes.
Jamaica Labour Party candidate Duane Smith is expected to arrive at the centre shortly.
He is scheduled to be nominated at approximately 1 p.m.
