CMA CGM moves offices

CMA CGM Jamaica, the local representative of the French shipping Line CMA CGM, has relocated its local offices from Newport West to the Kingston Mall, 8 Ocean Boulevard, downtown, Kingston.

The CMA CGM group has been offering its services to Jamaica for many years from its Newport West location. "Over time and as a result of the strong support of our loyal customers and the commitment of CMA CGM to the Jamaican shipping industry, the company has expanded its customer base and diversified its shipping activities," Leopold Nesbeth, general manager for CMA CGM said.

"Our new location, which keeps us in close proximity to the terminal, the Customs Department and the other relevant authorities, will also allow us the space necessary to grow our staff compliment and to ensure that we continue to offer the best possible service to our valued business partners," Nesbeth continued.

CMA CGM offers three-day services from Miami to Kingston. The line serves customers from 400 ports of call in 150 countries, with direct sailings from Chiwan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Qingdao, Kaohsiung and Pusan.
