The shipping and logistics business district on the Port of Kingston welcomed hundreds of enthusiastic runners and walkers from across the Corporate Area and beyond for the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) 5K Road Race held on Sunday, June 26.

As in previous years, part proceeds from this charity run/walk will go to the SAJ's adopted basic school, the Marcus Garvey School, located in nearby Greenwich Town. The staff of the SAJ voluntarily funds a feeding programme for the students with monthly deductions from their wages. The school is also sponsored by the SAJ, which pays teacher salaries, in addition to periodic capital costs.

Here are some photo highlights of this year's race.
