Junior footballer fatally shot in drive-by

A Manning Cup footballer was shot dead on Friday night in a drive-by shooting in West Kingston.

The Gleaner understands that the player was celebrating his birthday when he was shot. Two other persons also received gunshot wounds. A coach at the high school where he plays has confirmed the death but the Jamaica Constabulary Force Corporate Communications Unit says it has yet to identify the victim.
