SLB extends application period for CMI cadets

The Caribbean Maritime Institute (CMI) wishes to advise that the period for special application and loan renewal at the Students' Loan Bureau (SLB) has been extended. Offshore students (nautical cadets) now have the opportunity to make such applications between Monday, June 18 and Friday, June 22, 2012.

Current CMI students, who are beneficiaries of SLB loans, should complete and submit application forms online via the bureau's website (www.slb.com) to request funding for the 2012/2013 academic year. They will be required to pay a status-report fee of $650 at any Bill Express location islandwide, and are NOT required to visit the SLB website (for this purpose) during this period. Students are urged to take advantage of this special arrangement.
