The Government of China donated a Nutech Mobile Scanning Machine to the Government of Jamaica to be used by the Port Authority of Jamaica at a presentation ceremony held at the Kingston Container Terminal last Friday.

The machine will be used for the scanning of containers at the Port of Kingston and will enhance the Port Authority's security programme for the protection of cargo. The machine utilises cutting-edge technology and will be used primarily for scanning high-density products such as frozen and refrigerated cargo.
