Big spending

1. Members and supporters of the embattled one are saying so far $15 million has been spent to secure his freedom. They say the money spent includes that dispersed to 'rent the crowd'. Not all, however, are convinced that the expenditure represents value for money.

Another FINSAC?

2. News of recent acquisitions have some in the business sector concerned. They say we have been down this road before and it was the same model that created the much-dreaded and maligned FINSAC.

Big project

3. Some say the wife is the moneyed one and the fact that the project has been placed on hold speaks to the fact that the cash is no longer pouring in. Plus, the fact that opposition is coming from within the organisation to the continuation of the project.

Scampering time

4. When the principal of the popular high school visited a certain high-profile establishment recently, many of the patrons were seen scampering, as they tried fading into the background. Story is many were hiding out of embarrassment as they had outstanding unpaid school fees.

Falling down

5. Following on the recent resignation and mini floor crossing, some are saying more are in the offing, as they say things fall apart when the centre cannot hold.
