Popeyes spices up Cross Roads

Love that chicken with Cajun flavour was the prevailing theme for the grand opening of the second Popeyes Chicken and Seafood restaurant in crossroads Kingston last Tuesday.
In operations in Jamaica since December 27, the Popeyes team welcomed specially invited guests, and customers with open arms, as members of the Campion College dance troupe performed a mixture of dance hall hits.
The first Popeyes restaurant located at 32 a Constant Spring road, has made a name for itself, and with it's success, Chief Executive Officer of Restaurant Associates Limited Richard Lake announced that there will be three more Popeyes restaurant opened across the island by the end of the year.
Their tasty menu includes, but not limited to, three and two piece chicken combos, sandwiches, chicken tenders, family meals, seafood combos-fish and shrimp, salads, dessert.
What makes their chicken so tasty, according to Sabrena McDonald Radcliff, sales and marketing manager of Restaurants Associates, (owners of Burger King and Popeyes) is the 'Flava to di bone." Their chicken is also very juicy as they have it going through a 12 hour marinating process, courtesy of flavourful spices from seven different countries. "Popeyes is the only quick-service restaurant that offers chicken and seafood seven days a week, 365 days a year," Radcliff boasted.
State Minister in the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy and Mining Julian Robinson, was also in attendance and noted that the opening of the latest branch in the Popeyes restaurant franchise represents confidence in the growing economy.
Following the cutting of the ribbon, those present were given a tour of the facility. And the afternoon ended with an exciting spin the wheel giveaway and a sampling of refreshment and products.
