Carifta Games 2018 | Jamaica's Johnson promoted to 400m bronze medal

Malachi Johnson is now the bronze medal winner of the boys Under-17 400 metres at the Flow Carifta Games, following the disqualification of the winner Kyle Gayle of Barbados for a lane violation.

Johnson had finished fourth in 48.92 seconds.

The adjustments to the result also means that Trinidad and Tobago's Avindale Smith has been promoted to the gold medal position for his 47.54 seconds run, which originally gave him second place with Raymond Oriaki of The Bahamas now getting the silver medal after previously ending third in 47.75 seconds.
