Winning is important, not venue - Tallawahs coach

Jamaica Tallawahs head coach Mark O'Donnell says it does not matter where the team plays its home matches because if they are going to win this year's Caribbean Premier League (CPL) tournament, they will have to win games on the road.
Tallawahs, who reached the quarterfinals of last year's competition, will play three home games at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida.
They will face the Guyana Amazon Warriors on August 18, Trinbago Knight Riders on the 19th, and the Barbados Tridents on the 22nd.
There are suggestions that the Tallawahs' Florida-based ownership is looking to establish the game in their home state. However, O'Donnell said that the Tallawahs remain committed to Jamaica, and they are very determined to win this year's competition.
"I would hope that we have a bigger crowd in Florida, but we are the Jamaica Tallawahs and not the Fort Lauderdale Tallawahs," said O' Donnell.
"I don't mind where we play because if we are going to win this tournament, then you are going to have to be capable of winning at home and winning on the road and adapting and adjusting better than the opposition," he said.
"I think that they are looking to expand this tournament, and I think the CPL is a good idea, and a really good tournament, but it doesn't matter where we play," O' Donnell said.
