Expo Jamaica gave us a taste of of what to expect on April 19 to 22 for the grand Expo Jamaica with their (Jamaica Emerging Manufactures and Services (JEMS) Village Mini Expo last Friday at Digicel's Headquarters.

JEMS Village will be in full effect at Expo Jamaica. This will be done to highlight Jamaica's finest, including women and young entrepreneurs in emerging sectors such as nutraceuticals, cos-metics and beauty care, aromatherapy, and spa products. A few of these products were showcased at the mini expo. We got a taste of what will be showcased at the grand event in April.

There were beautiful sandals and accessories showcased by Shoan's Collection and Jan's Accent. Bresheh Enterprises showed their variety of bags. Exotichild and Digicel Foundation Chupse showed us just how creative they could be with jewellery making, while Mustard Seed Communities displayed innovative work with ceramics, vases, and gift cards.

Kihara Cosmetics and Perfect Hair and Skin Products were there to cater to us physically, from the crowns of our heads to the soles of our feet. All we need to keep our skins refreshed and glowing.

But it would not be a true expo without something to wet your taste buds like Pearl Island Foods' Pepper Jelly, Sweetie Confectionery Company Limited's sweets and Turner Innovations sorrels products. Lastly, but definitely, not least were Dunson's sauces to help you with that added flavour when you are practising your culinary skills in the kitchen.
