Security guard allegedly held with stolen perfume at airport charged

A security guard employed at the Sangster International Airport in St James, who was allegedly held with a stolen bottle of perfume at work, is to appear in the parish court next Wednesday, August 15

Jason Larmond, 21, of Wilson Valley district in Warsop, Trelawny, was charged with unlawful possession of property on Sunday.

The police say narcotics detectives were called to the Domestic Terminal Security Checkpoint after Larmond was allegedly held with a 100ml bottle of Chanel Blue perfume.

Larmond was reportedly accosted with the prohibited item after coming from a ramp.

According to the police, the security guard was unable to indicate how he obtained the perfume.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.
