Halfway through the tour, there was a stopping point where patrons stretched their legs and, of course, took selfies.

After finding great success with the inaugural off-road meet in July, the Chill Drink Chat Ride (CDCR) event is back to add more adventure to the usually busy December period. The event will be held in Bog Walk, St Catherine, on December 9.

CDCR founder Tavar Mighty said, "The last event was excellent. we got some great feedback, and from the feedback for this upcoming one, we anticipate even greater success."

CDCR is promising tons of fun through a number of improvements that they plan to showcase: "for this staging, we are going to switch it up a bit to add to the ambiance of the event. The concept is 'Dirt Meets River', meaning we will be partying on the beautiful grounds of Tru Juice Orchard by the river in St Catherine. To add to this, we will have a huge surprise for the patrons who will be going on the riding trail," Mighty said.

Achieving through planning

Mighty told Automotives about the efforts that go into making Chill Drink Chat Ride live up to its name. "It takes a lot of time and effort. It is a multi-tiered event with many moving parts. There is something for everyone, and so many intricate details go into the planning to ensure that the party people who are there to chill have a good time. If you are there to drink, you have options and still have a good time. If you want to chat, the vibe is right, and if you want to ride, you do it safely and have a good time. So, we have to ensure each aspect of the event is properly organised."

Planning an event with activities naturally requires additional support. "We will have a lot more sponsors on board. Some of our sponsors include Bush Trails Excursion Tours, Red Bull, LifeSpan Spring Water, and Main Event Entertainment Group Ltd." Unlike CDCR's inaugural event, attendees to the upcoming outing can forgo RSVPs as the promoters' main concern for patrons is them showing up and having fun.

Fun and new additions

Mighty mentioned some new CDCR activities to enhance variety and enjoyment. "We have increased the offerings with two different ride packages: VVIP Ride Package Ultra All-Inclusive with food, drink, and three ride sessions, and VIP Ride Package, which is drink-inclusive and entailstwo ride sessions."

The organisers were also mindful of those persons who are not interested in motor activities as there are tickets available for general admission only. "This is for patrons who just want to chill and party. However, after seeing the UTVs (utility vehicles) in action, persons might feel the need to experience it first-hand, so we will be making provisions to make this possible."

Mighty believes that this is a unique event that will give patrons a different experience from what they are accustomed to. "You can expect nothing but high-energy fun and party on the river with the most epic line-up of disc jocks and music. We will be dominating the off-road trails in the most powerful recreational UTVs. The trail that we will be using will give non-stop adrenaline action."
