Jamaica records eight new COVID cases

Active cases are now at 213 while recoveries remain at 745. Meanwhile, of the 382 imported cases, 59 patients have returned to their countries of origin.

One woman and seven men today tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the overall tally to 1,031.

The Health Ministry said four of the new cases were imported from Nicaragua and two from the USA.

The other two are in Kingston and St Andrew and are under investigation.
