The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat has introduced COVID-19 vaccination requirements to access its offices across the region.

It says staff members and all persons seeking to enter its offices to do business must show proof of vaccination.

Unvaccinated workers and members of the public are required to present a PCR test no older than seven days to enter the offices.

The secretariat says the measure, which took effect on October 1, is aimed at providing a safe working environment for staff, in keeping with attempts to limit the spread of COVID-19.
