Shenseea collaborates with Megan Thee Stallion on new single

Hotties and ShenYengz are on tenterhooks following the announcement that Shenseea and Megan Thee Stallion have collaborated on a new song.
The single — Lick — will be released this Friday.
"Get ready! We gonna go crazy this Friday!" posted Shenseea on Instagram in a collab post with Megan Thee Stallion on the photo-sharing platform.
There is no word if Lick is a part of Shenseea's highly anticipated debut album. However, in an October 30, 2021 interview with Power 105.1, following her Rolling Loud New York performance, Shenseea said she was putting the finishing touches on the project. "I am about to release my debut, but it is not going to come until early next year [in 2022], though, because I'm still fitting in tiny pieces," said Shenseea. "Features, everything is done. It's just more about like creatives now".
Megan Thee Stallion and Shenseea most memorably met up at a 2021 BET Awards after-party last year. "Everybody know I love you so much," said Hot Girl singer Megan Thee Stallion in a video Shenseea posted to her Instagram, along with the caption: "It's women celebrating women for me. The love is real! CONGRATS on all the wins, babe @theestallion". Known for hits such as Big Ole Freak, Savage and Savage Remix, which features Beyoncé, Megan thee Stallion won four awards at the BET Awards that year, including Best Female Hip Hop Artiste. This isn't her first collaboration with a dancehall artiste. Popcaan is featured on the 2020 Intercourse.
Shenseea's most popular hits include Shen Yeng Anthem, Trending Gyal and The Sidechick Song. She had a whirlwind year in 2021. She signed with manager Wassim 'Sal' Slaiby, who manages The Weeknd and Doja Cat, and won the award for Best Reggae Act at the 2021 British Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards. Also, three projects Shenseea contributed to received nominations for the 64th Grammy Awards ceremony.
Shenseea is featured on Kanye West's Donda album, which has earned two Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. She appears on the tracks Pure Souls with rapper Roddy Rich and Ok Ok Pt 2, which also features Rooga. She was also among the artistes who appeared on stage during his Chicago Donda event.
On Masego's Studying Abroad: Extended Stay album, she appears on the track Silver Tongue Devil. The album has earned the Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album. She also contributed to Major Lazor's Music is the Weapon (Reloaded) album which has been nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album. The given track is Tiny, which features BEAM. Shenseea is listed as co-author on all tracks.
Megan Thee Stallion is nominated for one Grammy Award in the category of Best Rap Performance for Thot S***. She is also Grammy-nominated in the Album of the Year category for her contribution to Lil Nas X's Montero.
