Parchment gets the better of McLeod in Birmingham with world lead

For the second time this season, Tokyo Olympic Champion Hansle Parchment has set the fastest time in the world this year in the men's 110m hurdles.

Parchment clocked 13.09 second en route to victory in the event at the Birmingham Diamond League Meet today, defeating former World and Olympic champion Omar McLeod, who was second in a season's best 13.17.

Spain's Asir Martinez was third in 13.32.

Parchment clocked 13.20 seconds on April 23 which was the fastest time in the world before America's Trey Cunningham clocked 13.10 on April 30. This is Parchment's fourth straight win of the season.
