Why an American athlete seems worried about possible drug test following visit to Jamaica

"There is smoke everywhere," American footballer, Brandon Marshall, tweeted saying the entire Jamaica smells of ganja.
Marshall who plays for the New York Jets team in the National Football League (NFL) made the suggestions in two posts on Twitter on Saturday over fears he could fail a possible drug test following a weekend visit here.
Marshall was in Jamaica for his sister’s wedding.
According to the footballer, Jamaica smells like Denver, the capital city of the state of Colorado, where smoking marijuana is legal.
Marshall also asked the NFL for guidance.

However, the NFL has not replied to his posts.
Marijuana is prohibited under the NFL substance abuse programme.
Unlike in Colorado, ganja is illegal in Jamaica although recent legal changes allow for the weed to be used for religious, medical, therapeutic and scientific purposes.
