Story of a multifaceted soldier

Mechanic, Jamaica Defence Force soldier, entrepreneur and now author; Anil Richards isn’t a typical 26-year-old. Hailing from humble beginnings in Clarendon, his journey is one which revolves around adversity, growth, sacrifice, triumph, struggle, empowerment and enlightenment, and now captured in a book titled Soldier with the 7Figures Mindset.

Named after his own residual lifestyle clothing brand “7Figures”, Richards’ book is a journey of his life. It documents his childhood, his school experiences, his family life, his relocation to Kingston, his professional career, his entrepreneurial journey and all the struggles and triumphs along the way.

Richards’ book serves to encourage others to chase their dreams regardless of their past. “I share my story as a testament to the fact that your future, your growth and your destination are not limited by your past. I share my story to remind you that despite where you grew up and despite the things that may have happened to you in the past, you are capable of achieving anything that you set your mind to,” Richards said.

The book features two main parts; a biographic section documenting the young author’s life and a motivational section which features insights and wisdom shared by the author. These sections are intended to help his readers adopt that “7Figures” mindset, the mindset which helped him to achieve the success he has today.

Richards says he continues to work assiduously on his entrepreneurial pursuits and encourages others to do the same.
