What's instantly evident with the new BMW X4 is the new, larger Kidney Grill. Not only does the larger kidney grille regulate the flow of cooling air but it also optimises fuel consumption. The 2019 BMW X4's new adaptive LED headlights as well as redesigned air intakes with rectangular fog lights present a visible distinction between the new X4 and its predecessor.
'The all-new BMW X4 M40i is reserved for those who really want to stand out', declared BMW head of business Sloane Jackson and sales manager. The M Performance comes complete with an M Sport exhaust system, 19 - M Double-spoke wheels, and M Sport Brakes as standard. The M Performance model produces a whopping 360 hp (265 kW)/500 Nm due to its M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder petrol engine, innovative lightweight construction and the Adaptive M suspension.

Much of the exterior differences between the first and second generation BMW X4 can be observed through the rear of the vehicle. The reworked design boasts a sportily flat appearance, which is supported by the wide rear window. The slender adaptive LED rear lights with their three-dimensional surface design underline the width of the vehicle and the movement of the license plate from the tailgate to the bumper also contributes to its more dynamic presence. Rounding out the enhanced appearance are the new tailpipes.
The interior design of the BMW X4 will look and feel similar to its X3 counterpart with component such as the convenient access to the vehicle's eco, sport and comfort driving modes, intuitive iDrive system with gesture control and a host of intricate details and premium finishes that clearly identify it as a member of the BMW X range family.

Last week Friday, the new 2019 BMW X4 was launched to the delight of guests who watched the unveiling at the company's showroom on Lady Musgrave Road. The model, which debuted in 2014, is now in its second generation and has been improved with enhanced driving dynamics and a standout exterior design.

It boasts a strong coupe silhouette along with driver assistance systems and connectivity. There is also some differences with the previous model as it is 81mm longer with 54mm added to the wheelbase and 37mm extra width and is lower by 3mm.

All of these dynamically stretched proportions come together to emphasise its 50:50 weight distribution. It retains the brand's trademark BMW kidney grille and twin headlight units, while the new horizontal LED fog lights integrated into the outer air intakes form a new interpretation of the familiar X model face.

All models feature Adaptive LED headlights as standard. The side profile is marked out by a sweeping shoulder line, with clearly defined haunches and distinctive wheel arches, while the lean coupe roof line is enhanced by a smoothly rising sill line.

To the back are the L-shaped LED rear lights, with their three-dimensional housing that are positioned at the extreme edges of the rear. Together with the twin exhaust tailpipes they magnify the width of the rear end.

All the controls are clearly arranged, while the slightly raised seating position, typical of BMW X models, affords drivers a superb view of the road ahead. The driver-focused layout of the cockpit - a BMW tradition - helps to create a great driving experience at all times. There are also redesigned sports seats with boldly contoured side bolsters that provide outstanding lateral support even in extreme handling situations.

The surfaces of the instrument panel and door panels merge smoothly into one another, while the X logos embossed into the electroplated surfaces of the front and rear doors are further eye-catching details.

The electric window buttons, the Start/Stop button, the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel and the controls on the centre console can also be embellished with galvanic detailing as an option.

The 2019 BMW X4 is now available and starts from $11,995,000 for the executive line.
