The BJ40’s design is certainly eye-catching. It bears an undeniable resemblance to the iconic Jeep Wrangler, particularly in its overall silhouette. The front grille, however, takes a bold turn, drawing inspiration from the mighty Hummer. But this homage goes beyond mere aesthetics. Rotary knobs with sleek silver accents provide control over the air-conditioning vents while USB ports and an AUX input cater to your connectivity needs.

Performance and Capability

The BJ40 is powered by a 2.0-litre engine that delivers a surprisingly peppy performance. Four selectable driving modes allow you to tailor the vehicle’s behaviour to the conditions. For navigating bustling Kingston streets, Eco mode proved to be a fuel-efficient choice. When venturing on to uneven surfaces, Comfort mode offered a smoother ride.

The engine delivers ample power, and even with the two-wheel drive configuration, the BJ40 tackled most terrains with ease. This capability is further enhanced by a limited-slip differential that optimises traction on loose surfaces.
