Stocks Round Up | 138 Student Living Variable Preference Shares today's top winner, First Rock (USD) leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Monday on a winning note, advancing marginally.

The lively trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 39/46.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,225.45 points or 0.52 per cent to close at 431,830.17.

The JSE Main Market Index was up 2,576.48 points or 0.60 per cent to close at 430,591.75 while the Junior Market Index declined 15.05 points or 0.45 per cent to close at 3,305.50

The JSE USD Equities Index declined 2.22 points or 1.04 per cent, closing at 210.85.

Market volume

Some 30 million units valued at over $198 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Wigton, followed by Jamaican Teas and MailPac.
