Stocks Round Up | SSLVC, Express Catering and Sterling Investments today's top advancers

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index ended the week on a losing note at the close of trading on Friday.

The bustling trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 27/40.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 249.06 points or 0.06 per cent to close at 418,639.76.

The JSE Main Market Index was down 312.91 points or 0.08 per cent to close at 416,728.75, while the Junior Market Index advanced 4.11 points or 013 per cent to close at 3,269.43.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined 6.30 points or 3.23 per cent, closing at 188.58.

Losers

TransJamaican Highway (USD) down 15.79 per cent closing at US$0.01
CAC 2000 down 12.07 per cent to close at $9.75
Stanley Motta down 9.52 per cent closing at $5.42
QWI Investments down 8.99 per cent to close at $0.81
Paramount Trading down 8.40 per cent to close at $1.09

Market volume

Some 26.3 million units valued at over $111.72 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Radio Jamaica, followed by FESCO and QWI Investments.
