Stocks Round Up | Access Financial today's top performer

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index again lost ground Friday.

Slow trading on high volumes saw the index close with an advance/decline ratio of 36/43.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,461.45 points or, 0.40 per cent, to close at 362,922.12.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 1,815.69 points or, 0.52 per cent, to close at 348,226.07, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 25.86 points or, 0.63 per cent, to close at 4,150.00.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 0.04 points or, 0.02 per cent, to close at 206.43.

Access Financial up 16.61 per cent to close at $24.50
Wigton up 12.73 per cent to close at $0.62.
Transjamaican Highway USD up 12.50 per cent to close at US$0.12

Eppley Ltd up 5.92 per cent to close at $39.70

Losers

MPC Caribbean Clean Energy (USD) down 19.33per cent to close at US$0.61.
Palace Amusement down 13.32 per cent to close a $716.88.
Sygnus Real Estate Financial down 8.00 per cent closing at $9.20
PanJam Investments down 7.61 per cent closing at $ 52.56
PBS down 5.80 per cent to close at $1.30

Market volume

Some 59.34 million units valued at over $172.69 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were: Wigton, followed by Sagicor Select-Financial and then Dolla.
