Stocks Round Up | Express Catering leads top advancers

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index reversed Tuesday's losses on Wednesday.

Another hectic trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 48/47.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,177.19 points or 0.63 per cent to close at 345,113.88.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 2,386.74 points or 0.72 per cent to close at 333,584.65, while the Junior Market Index declined by 4.92 points or 0.13 per cent to close at 3,698.57.

The JSE USD Equities advanced by 8.49 points or 3.86 per cent to close at 228.44.

Express Catering up 14.09 per cent to close at $5.91
Transjamaican Highway 8% up 10.00 per cent to close at $2.42
Massy Holdings up 9.54 per cent to close at $99.68
Purity,up 9.42 per cent to close at $1.90
ISP Finance up 9.22per cent to close at $21.20

Losers

Sygnus Real Estate Finance (JMD) down 12.67 per cent to close at $10.48
IronRock Insurance,down 9.73 per cent closing at $2.04
Paramount Trading down 9.17 per cent to close at $2.18
Knutsford Express down 8.30 per cent to close at $10.71
Eppley Caribbean Prop Fund SCC, down 7.73 per cent closing at $40.57

Market volume

Some 19.25 million units valued at over $65.72 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were: Transjamaican Highway, followed by Sagicor Select- Financial and Stanley Motta.
