Don Wehby taking leave from GraceKennedy

Group Chief Executive Officer of GraceKennedy Limited, Don Wehby, has announced he is taking temporary leave from his role to focus on his health.

In a message to the team at the company, Wehby said it "was a difficult decision, but I believe it is what's best for both me and GraceKennedy, at this time."

He sought to assure there would be no disruption to the Group's operations during his absence.

He said GK Group CFO Andrew Messado will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Company while he will remain involved at the strategic level.

"Andrew has been with GK for 25 years and has served with me as a Director of our Company since 2019. I have every confidence in his abilities, and 1 know that our operations will continue seamlessly," Wehby said.

Wehby did not state the period his leave would cover.
