Small tremor rattles three Caribbean islands

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 rattled the capital cities of three Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries early Tuesday.

There were no reports of injury or damage.

The Seismic Research Centre of the St Augustine campus of the University of the West Indies said that the quake occurred at 5: 58 am local time and was felt in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada and St Lucia.

It was located Latitude: 12.67N, Longitude: 61.44W and a depth of 110 kilometres

The centre said the quake rattled areas 59 km south west of Kingstown, in St, Vincent and the Grenadines, 77 km north east of St George’s, Grenada and 159 km south-south west of Castries in St Lucia.
