Man arrested in Suriname for distributing pornographic photos of ex-girlfriend

PARAMARIBO, Suriname, CMC - A 19-year-old man in Suriname remains in police custody after he was arrested for distributing pornographic photos and videos of his 20-year-old former girlfriend.
Police said that the woman, whom it identified as KA, filed a complaint against him.
The authorities said that they had a four-month love affair and during that period, the suspect took photos and videos when they were intimate.
The police said that the woman had trusted the suspect and did not think they would have ended their relationship.
But it said that the relationship broke down and the woman met someone else, who informed her that her ex-boyfriend had sent him pornographic videos and photos.
The police said that the material was distributed among friends of both young men and that as a result the woman filed a complaint against him.
