J.D. Wood | Building personal immunity against COVID-19

Providence has provided ample means by which both plants and animals develop resistance or immunity to the myriads of diseases that have been bestowed upon planet Earth.

Pandemic, like all other diseases, can be categorised as one form of natural disaster like earthquake, hurricane, extensive wildfires, accidents, famine, war, etc. These cyclical phenomena affect not only human population but animals and plants from the beginning of time.

However, providence has provided ample means by which both plants and animals develop resistance or immunity to the myriads of diseases that have been bestowed upon planet Earth. In other words, the universe has a built-in survival mechanism that has guaranteed the perpetuation of life on the planet for which we are gratefully indebted.

COVID-19 has presented us with a serious challenge to effectively control the pandemic without the development of a viable vaccine, which, if found, is likely to be two to three years down the road. This poses a very serious threat to economic recovery with its concomitant social upheavals.

THE FORMULA

As a public health specialist and naturopathic physician, I wish to propose a formula that will navigate us through this socio-economic health crisis.

1 Exploit the body’s natural immunity to the coronavirus by isolating the immune factor (gamma globulin) from the blood of those patients that have recovered from the disease for inoculation of those who have been exposed to the virus, like the medical staff attending coronavirus patients.

This form of immunity is a long-standing practice in medicine, beginning with the extraction of tetanus from horses that recovered naturally from tetanus in Germany. This blood serum carries the antibodies that will both prevent the disease and cure the disease in the recipients of this natural vaccine.

We now have hundreds of cases of patients that have recovered from the disease that constitute a prime reservoir for the reaping of COVID-19 vaccine, plus those asymptomatic convalescent cases that can be brought into the equation from testing results. This method can provide thousands of vaccines to prevent and cure thousands of patients in the early stage of the disease and those health workers that need protection.

2 Build your body’s natural immunity by removing the following from your food that mitigate against your body’s ability to resist diseases:

– Avoid microwave and fast foods, hydrogenated vegetable oils, cooking and baking in aluminium containers and foil for roasted fish and chicken.

– Table salt is bad for health, as it is corrupted by the addition of aluminium and heated to over 1500°F to prevent clumping. This causes blockages in the blood vessels, leading to hypertension and Alzheimer’s.

– Use coconut oil and butter with their short-, medium- and long-chain fatty acids for cooking and baking. When frying, add copious amounts of onion, garlic and ginger to destroy free radicals damaging to the body, and never reuse oils used for frying.

– Use uniodised sea salt, as the artificial iodine is not good for the thyroid, which is a vital endocrine gland regulating body temperature and metabolism, and most of all the conversion of cholesterol to vital body enzymes and digestive juices.

– Avoid excessive use of processed foods but practise to consume whole grains, and fresh fruits and vegetables several times daily.

– Wash vegetables for salad which should be your main dish with baking soda to remove pesticides which is carcinogenic to the body.

– Boycott all goods still being offered for sale in the banned Styrofoam carcinogenic packaging still in super abundance in supermarkets. Here I am calling on the public health inspectors to visit these stores and condemn such goods.

– Be sceptical about drinking water stored in plastic containers, as this is most deleterious to health, given that plastic leaches the toxic product called dioxin into the water that is so dangerous that it has no safe limit.

– Avoid the consumption of irradiated and GMO foods, along with imported cow’s milk laden with antibiotics.

– Avoid the use of artificial sweeteners such as aspartame, equal, and saccharin, which are deleterious to human health. Also, all drunk sugars such as fructose corn syrup, sugar syrup, sugar malt syrup, etc., found in a wide spectrum of edibles and drinks on the market. Use natural sweeteners such as raw honey, raw cane and coconut sugar and stevia or molasses.

3 Get regular exercise, restful sleep and time for productive peaceful meditation.

4 Consult with your naturopathic physician who will recommend and pilot you through the different detoxification processes to rid the body of poisonous toxins and waste that clogs the liver, kidneys, blood vessels, colon, gall bladder, joints to restore and enhance the body’s capacity to cleanse and heal itself and empowers it with consistent vital health and well-being, and most important, the robust capacity to ward off the most potent diseases like the deadly killer COVID-19.
