Pandemonium tonight!

Pandemonium's headlining trio Machel Montano, Shaggy and Angela Hunte invaded The Gleaner Company Limited yesterday, where they mingled with members of staff as well as promoted tonight's staging of the now annual soca fÍte.
During their hourlong tour of the company, the trio not only shared details about the show, but also signed autographs for seemingly exited fans. Machel Montano, who is Trinidad's reigning Road March King and Soca Monarch winner, promised to put out his best for the event.
"I always bring my 'A' game and excellence. Bringing soca music to Jamaica has always been something special and I am very passionate about it. I have been like this from the days of Byron Lee, because I feel like it's up to us who started the mission with him to continue his mission and deliver quality entertainment. Every time I step out the gate, I want to do the best, and this is one of my best years ... we will bring the hottest songs to Pandemonium," he said.
Machel Montano is currently riding high with his hit collaborative single, Party Done, which features United States (US)-based writer/singer Angela Hunte, known for her work on Jay Z and Alicia Key's Grammy Award-winning single Empire State of Mind.
An excited Hunte told The Gleaner that patrons can expect to see her out of her comfort zone tonight. She also revealed that she will be releasing her debut album, which will see her dabbling with various genres including soca, reggae, hip hop, R&B, among others.
Shaggy, who is once again receiving international recognition, this time for the single I Need Your Love, says Pandemonium will give patrons a different experience this time around.
No powder, no water
"There is no powder element or wet element this year, because we want to give patrons a different vibe. We also moved the event to Hope Gardens, so we will be getting more mileage as far as time is concerned," he said.
The veteran deejay also said patrons travelling to the event will not be seriously affected by the visit of US President Barack Obama.
"I think Obama will leave before the event. We might have a little logistic issues due to the security measures, but we spoke about that before and decided to transport the stage to the venue from yesterday. So we should not see any major issues," he said.
Pandemonium will also feature other local acts like Ding Dong and Chi Ching Ching.
