Insidious (Chapter 3): A dangerous supernatural entity

A prequel set before the haunting of the Lambert family that reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.

Insidious: Chapter 3 is an American supernatural horror film written and directed by Leigh Whannell in his directorial debut. It is a prequel to the first two films and the third instalment in the Insidious film series.

The film stars Dermot Mulroney and Stefanie Scott, with Angus Sampson, Whannell and Lin Shaye reprising their roles from the previous films.
