Heineken offers new worldy adventures
Heineken turned up the summer heat recently when the brew brand launched Heineken Cities, an under-the-crown summer consumer promotion aimed at exciting and encouraging consumers to enter for a chance to win one of two trips to two major cities.
"The Heineken brand is known for taking its consumers on a journey, and this promotion will do exactly that by allowing two lucky winners a chance to open their world and win an exciting adventure to New York or London," said Imru James, brand manager, Heineken.
Each month, a lucky winner will be chosen for a trip for two (adults), all expenses paid, inclusive of accommodation, spending money, and ground transportation to either New York or London. The winners will also be taken on a thrilling adventure during their stay overseas. In London and New York, Heineken is also undertaking a similar Heineken Cities execution.
With a prize pool of more than $3.6 million, consumers are encouraged to enter frequently to improve their chances of winning the grand prize and to also benefit from the tons of cash and credit which Heineken will be offering. There will be 50 cash prizes of $10,000 and thousands of dollars in credit giveaways.
"What's ideal about this promotion is that it is so simple to enter. Our consumers can get a chance to win by texting the code under the Heineken crown to 444-7744 or enter at www.mycitiesja.com. It couldn't be any easier," James added.
The promotion, which started on July 18, will run through to September 18 and will see the Heineken brand heading to various communities across the island and engaging its consumers through exhilarating experiences which will bring to life elements of a major city.
Specifically, there will be an all-island tour of pop-up parties at select locations, where the brand will unveil an entertainment-filled event for consumers to enjoy with performers and artistes, to be announced. Consumers will be able to 'live in the moment', interact with the brand and win great prizes. Entrants are required to be 18 years and older.
