Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation is an American action spy thriller written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It is the fifth instalment in the Mission: Impossible series and was preceded by Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011). It stars Academy Award-nominee Tom Cruise, who reprises his role as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt. The cast also includes Academy Award-nominee Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris and Academy Award-nominee Alec Baldwin.
