Ancient Future tour across US

Protoje plans to perform all around the United States this summer. He will start the Ancient Future Tour on July 6 in Boston and wrap it up a month later on the West Coast after stopping in New York City, Toronto (Canada), Chicago, Los Angeles and a number of other cities.

Protoje has shared the Ova (Freestyle) video, on which he performs to a beat which evokes a '90s feel. Protoje described the visual as a "fun modern retake on a classic live freestyle that only existed in a short YouTube clip".

"This retake features many faces of the next generation of Jamaica's musicians," he added. "Hopefully, you'll get familiar with them all." That group includes Royal Blu, Runkus, Blvk H3ro, The Grei Show and Lila Ike.

Yannick Reid directed the video, handled the camera (along with Nickii Kane) and edited the footage as well.
