High commissioner to open Australian ballet season at Palace Cineplex

The Australian Ballet, one of the world's premier ballet companies, will make its Jamaican debut with the inaugural encore broadcast of The Sleeping Beauty at Palace Cineplex, on Sunday, February 19, at 11:30 a.m., under the distinguished patronage of John Pilbeam, Australian high commissioner to the Caribbean.

In keeping Australia in the Caribbean thrust throughout the region, the high commission has joined forces with Palace Amusement Company, CinemaLive and The Gleaner Company (Media) Limited, in presenting the encore broadcast of The Australian Ballet's - The Fairy Tale Series, The Sleeping Beauty at Palace Cineplex.

The Australian Ballet's Fairy Tale Series on screen at Palace Cineplex will feature three dynamic performances, to include Cinderella, Coppelia and The Sleeping Beauty.
