BRT Weekend off to scorching start

Palm Spring, California:

With temperatures reaching 82 degrees Fahrenheit and expected to climb higher in Palm Springs, California, partygoers danced up a storm earlier today at BRT's check-in party, V Maui Wowi, the first of six parties, at the Moxie Palm Springs rooftop bar.

Patrons sipped from their BRT branded liquor-filled cups, while DJs Coppershot out of Jamaica and LA's DJ Courtesy of Krossfayah sound, quenched their thirst for dancehall tunes from the likes of Konshens, Popcaan, and Elephant Man - the energy god's 2003 hit, Pon Di River Pon Di Bank, causing the last few planted feet, to move into skanking mode.

The BRT Weekend of parties continues tonight with ‘Desert Madness at the BRT Festival Lawn, 68600 Avenue, Lalo Guerrero, Cathedral City, CA., where Jamaican artiste Charly Black is billed to perform.
