With prayers that the skies remain clear, this fifth instalment of Credit Unions Gosplash will take place on Tuesday, August 1 on Sugarman's Beach, Hellshire, Portmore, St Catherine.

Along with the prayers come a promise of top class entertainment from both local and international gospel stars. Tagged as 'the ultimate praise and worship experience on the beach', the Action Entertainment presentation includes performances by long-beloved Chevelle Franklyn, powerhouse vocalist Jermaine Edwards and Grammy award winning Tye Tribbett.

Last year's staging of Gosplash was interrupted by a tropical storm watch, which prevented the scheduled headliner, Deitrick Haddon, from performing.

Tye Tribbett, who has appeared multiple times on Billboard Hot Gospel chart will headline the beachfront concert. He is known for songs such as Keep Me, What Can I Do and Let Us Worship.

On the heels of his newest album The Audiologist, DJ Nicholas is expected to bring dance energy to the festivities, as he is known for high tempo hits like Holy Ghost Church, Daddy O and Holy Ghost Gym.

Goddy Goddy's younger brother, Ryan Mark, a minister both at the pulpit and in the recording studio, is expected to perform some of his winning numbers, These include God a My Don, Soar Wi A Soar, Buss the Gospel and Nah Deny the Name. Also included in the line-up is up and coming singer, Christina Roshay.

Gates for Credit Unions Gosplash 2017 will open at 10 a.m., the intention being to wrap at precisely 8 p.m. The Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union League (JCCUL) has once more committed to title sponsorship for the event, from which part proceeds will assist the Braeton Primary and Junior High School.
