One of the most well supported elite Friday night events to be held in clubs in Kingston for over five years, Uber now finds itself in a more intimate location at 100 Hope Road.

The event moved from the Club Privilege in New Kingston in 2016 to Fiction Fantasy at Market Place and was expected to continue there after the nightclub's reopening in August, although Scott Dunn of the Uber promotion team says "it was never the intention to."

Tonight will be the second Friday that the event is hosted at the new location. It is indoors, so there are no concerns about early shut-off time which has been the dilemma for promoters of other events at 100 due to them being held on the roof.

"Our title sponsors - Appleton Estate - and our team both felt that 100 was a better location, with other attractions like food and a casino. The space is also much more conducive to a high-energy club vibe," said Dunn

"The space is smaller, but right-sized for the atmosphere we are trying to create," he said.
