Jr Gong, Chronixx maintain positions

The only two solo Jamaican artistes on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart, valid up to Saturday, February 10, have both maintained their placing from last week's listing.

Damian 'Jr Gong' Marley's Stony Hill, which took the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album late last month, is still at number two after enjoying a four-place spike immediately following the Grammy win. And Chronixx's Chronology is still eighth, after a one-place bump following the Grammy decision.

There is a new number one and a new release to boot, as Holly Cook's Vessel of Love has made its debut at the top of the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. Following the Marley set is another new set, Burna Boy's Outside. The various artistes set, Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica, on which a cast of vocalists which spans Ed Sheeran, Capleton and Contractor appears, is at number four. Last week's top album, Marching Orders (The Green) has dived four places to lodge at number five.

Two EPs start the lower half of the chart. At number six is Redmelo's Smoke & Mirrors, with another short project, Henricci's Sister Caro, just behind. Chronology is the midway marker, then in ninth position is SOJA's Poetry in Motion, a former number one which has fallen two places from last week. Wrapping up this week's Billboard Reggae Albums Chart is Tribal Seeds' Roots Party, another former number one which experienced a fall, as it lost three places from last week's chart.
