With a vision to bring progressive under-ground talents to the fore, Tmrw.Tday Culture Festival will return to Seven Mile Beach, Negril, from May 1-6 as the premier multifaceted destination experience where yoga, house music and reggae music intersect.

"With Tmrw.Tday, it's nothing like anything I've been a part of. Dealing with wellness, reggae and house music, which are all soulful things, blending masters of their crafts in all those genres with such passionate and eclectic people, you can't help but feel the unity," festival director Kevin Bourke told The Gleaner.

Dubbed by its facilitators as a 'festi-vacation', participants are invited to Jamaica for a week of consciousness, conviction and growth through wellness, music, art, nature and natural therapies.

"From last year, we learnt a lot. We feel really good about the second staging, and we certainly put in the work. We have extremely experienced festival curators as part of my team who have worked on festivals in Las Vegas, Mexico, Portugal," he continued.

Bourke said that ticket sales have been going well, with the festival anticipating up to 400 travellers. "The feedback with the local campaign is kicking in now. People in Jamaica don't like to plan too far ahead, and that's OK. We've prepared for that; we're on the final stretch with local marketing. We're happy and excited, and we're in it for the long haul. It's all about creating a safe environment full of love and energy," he said.

The Vibez Tribe & Island Vibez

At Tmrw.Today Culture Fest 2018, the Vibez Tribe will feature house-music masters AudioFly, Bedouin, and Wolf+Lamb, who throughout the week will interchange with the Island Vibez crew.

Performances by these musical acts will be interspersed with presentations by members of the Irie Soul Tribe, a gathering of international yogis and natural-therapy specialists, to holistically engage the Tmrw.Tday audience.

AudioFly will headline the Flying Circus Beach Party, while the Crew Love party will feature Lonely C of Soul Clap and see the return of house-music maestros Wolf+Lamb. Adding their electronic flair to the week's entertainment will be house-music disc jockeys Sam Haze, Savage and She, Julian Prince, Charles Lazarus, and more.

Bedouin will headline the official closing party as the final sunset of the week makes its dip below the horizon over the limestone cliffs of The Caves, owned by Island Records founder Chris Blackwell.

In contrast to the extensive house-music package, Tmrw.Tday Culture Fest will incorporate a similarly extensive Reggae Showcase by the Island Vibez crew, to include performances by dancehall star Beenie Man, reggae revivalist Kabaka Pyramid, and rising reggae songstresses Naomi Cowan and Zia Benjamin. Also on the line-up for Island Vibez are the mixmaster talents of Walshy Fire, Teflon Zinc Fence and ZJ Sparks.
