Rondell Positive released his latest song, Stressless Dance, at the launch of the ninth staging of Heart Praise Worship Fest, at the Courtleigh hotel on Tuesday.

"The inspiration for Stressless Dance is my 1-year-old daughter Reign, who is actually featured on the song. She is such a joyful child, and she has no stress. One of the things I learnt from her is that this is really how we are to live. We are not supposed to be bombarded and weighed down by everything that is happening around us. We are actually supposed to be living life, knowing that we are going through life and we are not stagnant. Even Jesus invites us to come to Him when heavily ladened, and He will give us rest. So why we full up a stress?" said Positive.

He also outlined the focus for the 2018 staging of Heart Praise Worship Fest, and will be encouraging everyone who attends to take on this stressless attitude and relentlessly pursue their purpose.

"I have learnt so much from the joy and life of my daughter, and its reflected even in this year's staging of Heart Praise. We want everyone who attend to leave knowing that purpose is calling. There is a reason that you're still here. There is something that only you can fulfil, and we want to tell that to the world."

FAMILY EVENT

Heart Praise Worship Fest is an annual, family-focused concert held on Labour Day at Colonel's Cove, St Thomas. This year's performances will feature an all-Jamaican line-up of artistes, including Rondell Positive, Kevin Downswell, Ity Ellis, Kathy 'Tan Deh Deh' Grant, Kimola Brown-Lowe, Rhoda Isabella, Alicia Taylor and Kevin Heath. Not only does the event promises inspirational and wholesome entertainment, but it provides an opportunity to give back to the parish of St Thomas.

Born out of his desire to give back to his home parish, Heart Praise Worship Fest was created by Rondell Positive and Rondell Positive Music to assist in rebuilding the Eastern Paradise Prep School and bring quality family entertainment to eastern Jamaica. In the years since the first Heart Praise, part proceeds from the concert have gone towards giving computers and other equipment to schools, providing Heart Praise Great Start scholarships at the primary and secondary levels, along with other initiatives, such as Care A Hair, the Heart Praise Ambassador Programme, and Community Treats.
